Food served 12-2.30 pm and 6-9 pm
Saturday open all day from 12pm to 11 pm
Food served until 9.30 pm
Sunday open all day from 12pm to 6 pm
Food served 12 - 3 pm
Closed Monday and Tuesday
Please note: The pub will be operating on a cashless basis (card only). With banks now so far away, handling cash has become tricky and expensive. However, we’ll make individual arrangements if this presents any issues – just speak to us.

Ickleton Community Pub Limited (ICP) was established in 2024 as a Community Benefit Society (CBS) incorporated under the Cooperative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014.

ICP was formed in order to:

Raise funds to purchase the freehold of and refurbish The Ickleton Lion through fundraising, shares and grants

Reopen and operate the pub as a successful long-term business to be run by professional staff

Ensure that The Ickleton Lion will become a social hub for the wider benefit of the community
ICP is based on the model rules provided by the Plunkett Foundation, a charitable organisation that supports community cooperatives in rural areas. ICP is currently run by a committee of people from Ickleton, details of whom can be found on the 'About' section of the website.
